VoiceVerified®’s Service Platform
VoiceVerified® service is architected for high availability, designed for reliability, security, accuracy and privacy protection.
When your customers are free to do business with you by Internet, telephone, cell phone, or wireless device your business literally follows them wherever they go. But this only works if your customers feel secure and are not inconvenienced by your security procedures.

Point Service Provider® (PSP) Architecture
Our core technology utilizes:
- CISCO firewalls, switches and load balancers
- HP application and database servers
- EMC Clarion SANs
- VoiceXML
- Multiple VoiceVerified® proprietary voice biometric engines
High Availability and Certifications
VoiceVerified® is built to the highest standards for maximum up-time and is supported by best-in-class providers and full fail-over support. Our best-in-class providers maintain the highest and most robust certifications in the industry (such as ISO, PCI, and TrustKeeper® certifications) to satisfy the most demanding security standards. Redundancy across two geographically diverse data centers and three call centers ensures the service stays up even when the unthinkable happens. VoiceVerified® has removed the time, expense and hassle of building your own solution so that you can rapidly deploy our service on a global scale.
- Architected to high availability throughout the platform.
- Active datacenter is fully redundant internally with hot standby and separate disaster recovery sites.
- Our optional telephony platform utilizes three active call centers, fully load balanced with failover.
- Additional datacenters and telephony centers will be scaled to meet ongoing growth requirements.
- Each datacenter and telephony center is located on a separate power grid.
- Each datacenter follows leading industry certification standards like ISO, PCI and TrustKeeper®
- We employ full-time active third party intrusion detection and vulnerability assessment.
- We perform quarterly TrustKeeper® audits.
Highly Flexible
VoiceVerified® provides highly scalable enterprise architecture to meet any business need.
- Transaction-specific tuning available as a function of the API or as part of a web service or Voice XML dialogue.
- Allows for use in call centers, web or custom application environments to assure consistency across multiple business units within an enterprise.
- Multiple connection methods adds to the flexibility of deploying VoiceVerified®:
- call-in: callers speed through the ID process in your IVR system or call center utilizing standard telephony methods (cell, POTS and VoIP).
- call-out: call out to a trusted number, adding another layer of authentication and flexibility.
- embedded audio: with our technology even a phone line is unnecessary as individuals can be authenticated via pc microphone or IVR using VoIP.
- additional methods exist.
Voice Biometrics
There are just three ways to identify a specific person:
- By something they have, such as a picture ID or token
- By something you and they know, such as a password, PIN, or personal information
- By something that they are, such as a biometric (fingerprint, voiceprint, etc.)
Of these three ways, a voiceprint is the best choice for identification when the individual is not present, since a voiceprint cannot be lost, stolen or forgotten. It doesn’t require divulging personal, private information.
Highly Accurate
- VoiceVerified® utilizes multiple advanced voice biometric engines to provide the most accurate identification possible.
- It provides transaction-specific tuning to manage error rates (False Reject Rate (FRR) and False Accept Rate (FAR)) to allow you to control the level of security versus convenience. We work with you to establish the right FAR and FRR for your applications.
- It utilizes our proprietary Dynamic Voice Challenge® process to mitigate the risk of spoofing.
- It contains several layers of protection against audio recording and/or digital synthesis.
Biometric Engine Functions
VoiceVerified® service is architected to provide two basic functions from its biometric engine: enrolling a voiceprint and authenticating against the enrolled voiceprint. The service is deployed via a managed (hosted) service (which we term Point Service Provider® or PSP) or can be configured behind the firewall should you desire.
Enrollment process – one-time capturing of your voice
Individuals can easily enroll with VoiceVerified® in a little as a minute. They are automatically prompted to repeat a random set of numbers, which creates their unique voiceprint stored as a mathematical representation in the VoiceVerified® service platform.
Authentication Process – dynamic, transaction-based voice verification
Later, when individuals wish to make a transaction or gain secure access, they are prompted to repeat few random numbers. In a few seconds they are accurately authenticated. No PINs or passwords to remember, manage, lose, or have stolen, and no divulging of personal information.
