News and Events:
Latest Voice Biometric Engine Released
Static Passphrase engine added to VoiceVerified product line.
December 2008. The Static Passphrase (SP) engine was released this month, making this our third voice biometric engine. The SP engine allows users to repeat simple numbers or phrases 2 or 3 times in order to create their voiceprint. Later, repeating this same phrase once is all that is required to verify identity. This use case is particularly important as it allows for simultaneous content matching and speaker identification, as well as high levels of customer convenience. Additionally, average handle time (AHT) can be signficantly reduced. VoiceVerified will continue their leadership position as a pure-play voice biometric technology developer early next year when it releases it's fourth planned engine, code named 'G2'.
Both Accuracy and Convenience Improved Again
Model Adaptation added to VoiceVerified product line.
November 2008. Model adaption is an important capability as it allows us to "adapt" or "change" a person's voiceprint (model) over time. This is accomplished by taking speech samples from the customer after enrollment occurs (either successful verification phrases or other speech given within and IVR) and using these samples to "update" a person's model. There are two major benefits to customers and their users. First, accuracy increases as we have the most up-to-date representation of a person's voice at all times. And second, since we can adapt a model over time it is possible to shorten the initial enrollment process -- resulting in cost savings for our customers, greater convenience for their users, and greater flexibility in design user interfaces.
Spanish Language Support Released
Latin American Spanish language support is now available for the entire VoiceVerified product line.
October 2008. As part of it's on-going commitment to offer native language support for all consumers in North and South America, VoiceVerified released Latin American Spanish for core voice engines and products. Field testing results with several customers demonstrated that engine accuracy levels met or exceeded all previous benchmarks established with our English language engines. The next languages to be released will be French Canadian and Hindi -- both are anticipated for 2009 production availability.
SpeechTek 2008 Event
SpeechTek 2008 Show in NYC once again a major success.
August 2008. VoiceVerified once again had a booth at the SpeechTek show in NYC. This year's show was the best ever, as we had a large end-cap booth and significant traffic during all days of the show. Bill Drew from Acxiom joined us in the booth, while Steve Phipps participated in several side panels and discussions. The highlight of the show was VoiceVerified being awarded a Market Leadership Award for Speech Security. See you next year ...
