JAMES J. VOLK, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

VolkAs chief financial officer, Jim Volk oversees VoiceVerified®’s financial operations including planning and analysis, corporate development, corporate finance, risk management, cash management, investor relations, financial reporting and compliance. With more than 20 years of experience, Jim has helped grow some of the largest names in telecommunications by developing business plans, executing capital-raising strategies to support expansion, and managing the intricacies of mergers and acquisitions.

Jim joined VoiceVerified from Ubiquitel Inc. (Nasdaq: UPCS), one of the nation’s largest Sprint Nextel affiliates. During Jim’s five-year tenure as chief financial officer with Ubiquitel, the company grew earnings (before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) by an annual growth rate of 73 percent, eliminated $250 million in debt service, increased its market capitalization from $25 million to $1 billion, and was successfully acquired by Nextel for more than $1.3 billion. Jim spent six years at Cingular Wireless (formerly SBC Wireless and Comcast Cellular), where he rose from director of international finance to regional vice president and chief financial officer.

PETER J. SOUFLERIS

Chief Technology Officer

SouflerisPeter Soufleris oversees technology, professional services and product development at VoiceVerified®. With more than 20 years of information technology and DSS experience in sales, consulting, implementation and client services for Fortune 500 companies, Pete brings unparalleled expertise and commitment to providing superior service to VoiceVerified’s clients.

Prior to joining VoiceVerified®, Pete founded and served as president of Data Resources LLC, a private consultancy specializing in corporate information management and software-based subscription data services for the real estate and direct marketing industries.

Pete also served as president and vice president of several software consulting companies, including DBMetrix, Inc., Insight Marketing Systems, Oracle and IRI Software. With his leadership and skill in managing newly formed consultancies, he led these companies in tremendous revenue growth by forging new relationships and expanding products and services offered.

He has a B.A. from the University of Rochester and an M.B.A. from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business.

WAYNE P. CLUFF

Executive Vice President/Co-founder

CluffWayne Cluff is an accomplished business development executive with more than 20 years of experience in the areas of sales, marketing and operational management in the technology and services industries.

Wayne’s career is marked by his ability to drive revenue growth by combining innovative sales approaches with operational efficiencies. Key accomplishments in his career include: building the nationwide ERP software and services practice for GE Capital Consulting while serving as managing director; as executive VP of business development for Lawson’s largest VAR; increasing ERP-related sales tenfold in 30 months, and serving on the boards of directors for three technology companies.

Prior to joining VoiceVerified®, Wayne was senior vice president of sales and marketing at Intercede, Inc., a leading developer and supplier of enterprise risk management systems and professional services. He also has served as managing director of consulting operations at GE Capital Consulting, and vice president of consulting services and chief information officer of Comstor Inc., a national wholesaler of computing products.

Wayne earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University.

DAVID L. STANDIG

Executive Vice President of Business Development

StandigDavid Standig is a master at marketing, with a reputation for growing technology start-ups into marketplace leaders. An entrepreneur at heart, David oversees VoiceVerified®’s business development activities.

Prior to joining VoiceVerified®, David was co-founder and chief operating officer of Independent Wireless One Corp., a regional provider of cellular phone services and Sprint PCS affiliate. Earlier, David led the marketing launch of Triton PCS, a $1 billion affiliate of AT&T Wireless, where he served as senior vice president and chief marketing officer. During his tenure at Comcast Cellular, he spearheaded its marketing operations, created customer retention programs and developed distribution channels, to garner a 65 percent market share.

David is an expert in new product and market development, branding, customer focus, financial planning and modeling, and sales and marketing. He has spoken at technology industry events, including the CTIA annual conference and the Qualcomm Technology Forum. He holds an M.B.A. in finance and operations management from Columbia University and earned his B.S. in business and economics from Lehigh University.
